What this covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies that whatsaeo.co.uk may set on your device, and how you can control them. We use Google Consent Mode v2; nothing non-essential loads until you accept.
Cookies we may set
Strictly necessary (always on)
- cs_consent_v1 — stores your cookie choice (granted or denied) so we don’t ask every page. Expires when you clear your browser data.
Analytics (loads only if you accept)
- _ga, _ga_<id> — Google Analytics 4. Used to understand which content is useful. Approximate location, device and browser type. Expires 2 years after your last visit.
We do not currently use advertising or re-marketing cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated and you’ll be asked afresh.
Browser-local storage
In addition to cookies, three tools on this site save your work in your browser’s localStorage. These are not cookies and are not transmitted to our servers; they stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
Changing your mind
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page to clear your current choice and see the banner again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Analytics tracking in brief
If you accept analytics, we see aggregate patterns: which pages are visited, how people move through the site, roughly where they are and what device they’re using. We don’t identify individuals, we don’t join analytics data with your email, and we don’t share analytics data with third parties for advertising.
