About WhatsAEO

Plain English. Honest answers. No hype.

WhatsAEO is a free resource for business owners who want to understand Answer Engine Optimisation without wading through hundreds of LinkedIn posts and vendor pitches.

What this site is

WhatsAEO explains what AEO means, how it relates to SEO and GEO, and what practical things business owners can actually do about it. The emphasis is on practical and honest. We don't claim guaranteed AI citations, we don't invent statistics, and we don't sell "AI visibility scores" dressed up as truth.

The free tools, the 40-page Playbook and every educational page are built around one editorial standard: if a claim can't be reasonably supported, it doesn't go on the site.

Who runs it

WhatsAEO is written and maintained by Sarah Wood at Creative Sauce Ltd. Creative Sauce builds practical AI resources and tools for small and independent businesses.

Creative Sauce Ltd is a UK company (number 12582512) registered in England and Wales, VAT number GB365544675. The business contact is hello@creativesauce.io.

What we will do

Editorial standards

Every page is reviewed before publication for:

If you spot a mistake, a stale fact or a claim we haven't supported properly, please tell us. Corrections usually ship within a few days.

Our sister resource

WhatsGEO.io is the companion site. If WhatsAEO asks "are you providing clear, credible answers?", WhatsGEO asks "can AI-powered discovery actually find and understand your business?". Different lens, same editorial standards.

How this site is funded

WhatsAEO is funded by Creative Sauce. We don't take ads, we don't accept sponsorship, and we don't run affiliate links. If you find the resources useful and want to work with Creative Sauce on your own AI visibility, get in touch. If you don't, keep the free Playbook and the free tools; they're yours regardless.
